1.1 The EU General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act 2000, and the Data Protection Amendment Act 2018 serve the right to protection of personal data. We process your data exclusively based on the legal provisions (DSGVO, DSG 2018, TKG 2003).

2.2 We are committed to protecting and securing all personal data entrusted to us. This document will reveal more about how we use and process your personal data.

3. Purpose, legal basis, duration of storage, and data recipients

3.1 The personal data gathered is used for submitting offers, executing orders, delivering, and invoicing our services. For this purpose, the data is collected, stored, processed, and used.

3.2 Your personal data is processed for the purpose of contract fulfilment (e.g. online shopping), legitimate interests, the fulfilment of our legal or contractual obligations on the one hand, and your consent (e.g. contact form, online shop, cookies) on the other hand. Not providing the data can result in differing consequences.

3.3 We process your personal data, as required, within the duration of the business relationship (from the initial contact, through the processing, to the termination of a contract), as well as following the statutory storage and documentation obligations, which result from the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB), the Federal Fiscal Code (BAO), as well as until the end of any legal dispute, ongoing warranty and guarantee periods, etc.

3.4 We use software service providers for the operation of our websites, who may gain access to your personal data during their activities insofar as they require the data for the performance of their respective services. These providers are obliged to comply with the applicable data protection regulations. Order processing contracts have been concluded following Art 28 DSGVO. 4 Contact form

4.1 All information, including personal data you provide in our contact form, is transmitted to us via our own mail server and processed and stored by us to fulfill your request. This data will not be gathered or passed on without your declaration of consent. We cannot process your inquiries without this data.

4.2 The data processing is carried out based on the legal regulations of § 96 para 3 TKG and Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) DSGVO.

5 Newsletter

5.1 You can subscribe to our newsletter on the website.

5.2 We commission data processors to send our newsletter. They are obliged to comply with the applicable data protection regulations. An order processing contract has been concluded following Art 28 DSGVO. You can request more information about the data processors we commission from fbogner@mysteel24.com.

5.3 The data processing is conducted based on the legal provisions of § 96 Abs 3 TKG and Art 6 Abs 1 lit a (consent) DSGVO.

6. Online shopping

6.1 We draw your attention to the fact that to facilitate the shopping process and for the subsequent execution of the contract, the webshop operator Netgenerator GmbH stores the IP data of the connection holder in the context of cookies, as well as the name, address and contact data of the purchaser. In addition, order information such as articles, quantity, prices, etc., is also stored by us for the purpose of the contract execution. The data provided by you is necessary for the execution of the contract and the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot execute the contract with you.

6.2 Data is transferred to payment service providers to debit the purchase price, to the transport company commissioned by us to deliver the goods, and to our tax advisor to fulfill our obligations under fiscal law. They have undertaken to comply with us with the applicable provisions of data protection law. An order processing contract was concluded following Art 28 DSGVO. 6.3 Data processing is carried out based on the legal provisions of § 96 Abs 3 TKG and Art 6 DSGVO ( particularly consent and/or the necessity of fulfilling the contract).

7 Cookies, other tracking tools, as well as web-analysis

7.1 Cookies, other tracking technologies, and functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics are used in various ways on our internet platform. Cookies are short pieces of text information that enable a recognition of the user and an analysis of his use of our websites. The information obtained through these cookies is transferred to the provider's server and stored there. They serve to improve the user-friendliness, effectiveness, and security of our website as a whole. Cookies are also used to monitor the frequency of site visits and for general browsing purposes.

7.2 By using our website, you consent to our use of cookies. In your browser settings, you can choose to decline cookies' acceptance. 7.3 Our company has concluded a corresponding contract for commissioned data processing with the provider. They have committed themselves to complying with the applicable data protection regulations. 7.4 Your IP address is recorded but immediately pseudonymised [e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits]. As a result, only a general localisation is possible.

7.5 Data processing is performed based on the legal regulations of § 96 Abs 3 TKG as well as Art 6 DSGVO (in particular consent). Since the privacy of our users is essential to us, the user data is pseudonymised.

8 Consent and right to withdraw

8.1 Where your consent is required for processing your data, we will solely process it after receiving your explicit consent.

8.2 As a general rule, we do not process data of minors and are not authorised to do so. By giving your consent, you confirm that you have reached the age of 14 or that you have the consent of your legal representative.

8.3 You can retract your consent at any time using the following e-mail address: fbogner@mysteel24.com. In such case, the personal data previously stored will be anonymised and subsequently only used for statistical purposes without any personal reference. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the legitimacy of the data processing performed based on the consent until the revocation.

9 Data security

9.1 Mysteel24 e.U. uses both technical and organisational security measures to protect the stored personal data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss or destruction, as well as to prevent access by unauthorised parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in response to technical progress.

10. Your Rights

10.1 At all times, regarding your personal data, you may request information from the person responsible, Fritz Bogner, fbogner@mysteel24.com. Provided that there is no legal obligation to retain the data, you are entitled to have this data deleted and to object to its processing.
